Red, white and blue designer furniture creates a mini Paris
Gala-Event at the Rheinterrasse for the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Düsseldorf
On 1 July the Tour de France kicked off in Düsseldorf, the capital city of North-Rhine Westphalia. For the first stage of the most famous cycling race in the world, 1,000 cycling enthusiasts were guests in the "Allrounder" – the hospitality area on the Rhine terraces in the regional capital of Düsseldorf – and were able to follow the individual time trials in its exclusive surroundings. For the atmospheric setting, Party Rent decorated three reception rooms with high-quality designer furnishings on behalf of the City of Düsseldorf.
The Grand Départ has been completed. Düsseldorf was the proud host of the starting line in 2017. For the first stage, four hospitality areas were provided. At the "Allrounder", Stockheim, as the resident and experienced caterer, offering a wide range of dishes, helping the regional capital, Düsseldorf, to take care of the physical well-being of the 1,000 guests.
Alongside this, Party Rent, also working for the city of Düsseldorf, decorated three rooms at the Rheinterrasse, which all offered landscape window frontage with an exclusive view of the race course. The largeRadschlägersaal was decorated with red, white and blue DSWs at white Ibiza tables – the colours of the French flag. Bornholm high tables with grey Cato bar-stools and relaxing lounge areas were installed under the shell-shaped gilded dome of the Rheingoldsaal. In the yellow salon, which opens onto the generous, semi-circular outdoor terrace, wood finish designer furniture set the tone.
